Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • (Optional) Mini chocolate chips
  • (Optional) Chopped walnuts or pecans
  • (Optional) A pinch of sea salt
  • (Optional) Vanilla extract
  • (Optional) Protein powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup almond flour with ¼ cup cocoa powder. Stir until there are no lumps.
  2. Pour in ¼ cup maple syrup and mix until a thick, fudgy dough forms. If it’s too dry, add a splash more syrup or a teaspoon of water.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls using your hands. (Tip: Slightly wet hands to prevent sticking.)
  4. Place the brownie bites on a lined plate or tray and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
