- 1 tablespoon raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (Ceylon preferred)
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- Juice of ½ fresh lemon
- Optional: Dash of cayenne pepper or monk fruit for taste
Instructions
- Heat 8 to 10 ounces of water until warm (not boiling).
- Add all ingredients into a mason jar, shaker bottle, or blender.
- Shake or blend thoroughly until well combined.
- Drink immediately on an empty stomach, ideally 15–30 minutes before breakfast.
- For the Brazilian tea version, swap water with freshly brewed green tea and let cool 5 minutes before mixing.
- Store any extra servings in the fridge and shake before drinking.
Notes
Use only fresh ginger and lemon for best results. Avoid drinking late at night. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or individuals with sensitive stomachs without medical advice.
