- ½ tablespoon fresh grated ginger (or ½ teaspoon powdered)
- ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about ¼ of a lemon)
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (Ceylon if available)
Instructions
- Warm 1 cup of water to just below boiling.
- In a mug or glass, add the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, grated ginger, and ground cinnamon.
- Pour the warm water over the ingredients.
- Stir well to dissolve and combine all ingredients thoroughly.
- Let it sit for 1-2 minutes, then sip slowly on an empty stomach in the morning.
- Optional: Add ½ teaspoon raw honey, a pinch of cayenne, or a slice of mint for flavor variations.
Notes
For a Brazilian-style version, swap warm water for 1 cup cooled brewed green tea. Drink daily in the morning before breakfast for best results. Adjust ingredients for sensitive stomachs as needed.
