Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine chia seeds, cocoa powder, optional salt, and protein powder if using. Mix dry ingredients well.
  2. Slowly pour in the plant milk while whisking continuously for about 60 seconds to prevent clumping.
  3. Add maple syrup and optional vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate. After 10 minutes, stir again to prevent seed clumps.
  5. Let it chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture.
  6. Before serving, check consistency. Too thick? Add milk. Too thin? Stir in more chia seeds and wait 20–30 minutes.
