- 1 tsp dried butterfly pea flowers or 1 tea bag
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp camu camu powder (optional)
- Fresh ginger slices (optional)
- Fresh mint (optional)
- 1/4 cup brewed yerba mate (optional)
- Stevia or monk fruit sweetener to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of water and steep butterfly pea flowers for 5–7 minutes.
- Strain and let the tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate.
- In a glass with ice, pour in the cooled tea.
- Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.
- Optional: mix in camu camu powder, ginger, mint, or yerba mate.
- Sweeten with stevia or monk fruit if desired.
- Stir gently and enjoy the color change.
Notes
Best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach. Adjust lemon and vinegar quantities to your tolerance level.
