Ingredients

- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
- Juice of 1 fresh lime
- 12 oz sparkling water (like Topo Chico or seltzer)
- Optional: 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
- Optional: A few fresh mint leaves
- Optional: A pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Grate the ginger as fine as possible.
- Juice the lime and pour it into your glass or jar.
- Add the grated ginger. If using, add apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper.
- Slowly pour in the sparkling water to prevent overflow.
- Add mint leaves if desired, stir well.
- Serve chilled over ice or refrigerate for 10 minutes before drinking.
Notes
Start with small amounts of ginger and ACV to avoid upsetting your stomach. Best enjoyed cold. Can be prepped in batches by mixing everything but the sparkling water in advance.
